The Spec Ops are once again being mobilized. With sudden appearance of a mostly unknown threat appearing within the Inkopolis Waterfront Region, and reports of multiple law enforcement officers and national guard members being killed or wounded, the Federal Government ordered the mobilization of military personnel, which included the Inkopolis Spec Ops.

The Spec Ops were gathered in the briefing room to be briefed on the current situation and to decide their course of action.

Ian: all Spec Ops, listen up! If you haven't already heard, our nation is once again being attacked.

Ella: Who could possibly be invading us? We destroyed our biggest enemy not to long ago?

Ian: We did, but this time it's not Octavio's forces, or the Sanitization Gang, or those guys over at the Fortnite Archipelago

Zack: huh, almost forgot about those guys... but anyway, if it's not them, who is it?

Ian: strangely enough, is the salmonoids who are attacking this time

Michael: Salmon? How? Those things can barely handle fighting Grizz Co. new hires, let alone the national guard!

Ian: well from the reports I've been hearing coming from the national guard, it seems that they've managed to get their slimy fins on some of the surplus military hardware left behind by Octavio's forces. And I've also heard rumors of some salmonoids taking on a somewhat humanoid form.

Cassy: Any word on whether they have any aircraft or naval vessels?

Ian: From what I've heard, they're mostly using lightly armoured vehicles and APC's, nothing with regards to heavy armour, boats or aircraft, but that doesn't guarantee that they don't have any. It could be possible that the salmonoids are holding back to test our response. So Ivan, Ella, I want you guys to carry anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons just in case

Ivan: да, yes sir!

Ella: you got it cap.

Ian: I was also told that we will be working alongside members of Grizz Co. Seeing as they are experienced with fighting the Salmonoids, their experience and knowledge of the enemy is considered vital to our mission. We are to rendezvous with them near the harbor. together, we will assist with evacuating any civilians who are still trapped and neutralizing any threats along the way. Close Air Support will be available to us upon arrival.

Sheila: by the way captain, who's that standing next to you?

Ian: oh, thanks for reminding me, everyone, meet Luna. She's our replacement tech specialist. She will be joining us on this mission

Luna: ありがとうキャプテン (thank you captain). I look forward to serving alongside you all

Marcus: what up with your eye?

Luna: I-... I don't want to talk about it...

Ian: Alright everyone, grab you gear, we're leaving in 10 minutes! Let's Move!
