It has been several weeks since Amelia had been temporarily relived of her duties as the Inkopolis Spec Ops sniper. Amelia's mental health had been on a slow, but steady Improvement ever since she the night she had talked with Ian. She had decided to go for a walk around the waterfront region of Downtown Inkopolis to relax.

As she was walking around, she noticed there were several inklings and octolings walking and running away from the waterfront, which confused her. As she stood there trying to figure out what was going on, the area around her was suddenly filled with the sound of sirens and horns as dozens of police, fire and EMS vehicles drove past. Concern and Worry had joined Amelia's confusion as she noticed several vehicles belonging to the Inkopolis National Guard were amongst the parade of emergency service vehicles heading towards the waterfront.

As she was trying to figure out what was going on, Amelia overheard a message coming from the radios of police officers that were running past her.

Dispatch: "Be advised, we have a 11-99, shots have been fired, multiple officers down! All units respond code-3 to the waterfront. Multiple suspects..."

Hearing those words had sent a chill down Amelia's back. She stood frozen place and dozens of thoughts raced through her mind, trying to piece together the little information she had with regards to the situation.

After a few seconds had passed, a strange feeling had begun to form in Amelia's gut, telling her to head to the military base, and pick up her AWP once again. at first she decide against it, but the feeling in her gut was rather potent. Giving in, she began running towards the military base where the rest of the Spec Ops were stationed.

As she was running, an alert began playing on her phone...
