It was tragic what happened to her in the finale. However, she served her purpose; she was born to be a weapon, but Jack led her back to her humanity. He didn't make her whole. No. He simply showed her the way. And she took it all the way. She became a true hero. She saved him from himself. Ashi's journey alongside Jack's is what made her such a memorable character: She made his journey home less lonely, showing him that his fight isn't just his to fight. And once her purpose was served, she faded. It made me cry. It made me weep. We all wanted Jack to be happy. That is only natural, given all we have seen him endure. We wanted to see him finally happy because he is a hero who gave all for his fight for peace. Despite his experience, Jack was somewhat naive. His final lesson to learn was the price of victory. A Pyrrhic victory in the purest sense. He conquered his enemy at the cost of his beloved Ashi. Goodbye Ashi, daughter of the demon, bane of evil, love of a hero.

After Ashi and Jack becomes lovers, Jack finds the last time portal but then Ashi dies so Jack goes back to the past to save the fucking Ashi, (instead of you know going back to the time everything started and saving every existing thing from all the suffering they have to endure under Aku’s rule like the noble hero he is.) And he succeeds. Then years later he becomes that king in the portal episode only then he gathers an army and kills Aku.BTW should send this hugeass disappointing ending to your friend. Least you can save them from this big disgusting disappointment .
