Description This is the same huge spider as this , photographed less than two weeks later but already noticeably fatter. Here she is, eating some unlucky bug that's too tied up to be identified. Interestingly, she is joined by some tiny flies. One is sitting on the left pair of back legs, and a couple are on her meal. Indeed, one of them is directly under her mouth, the cheeky bugger.

This is just a closeup of this photograph to make the flies more visible.

The hairy legs scare me the most. And yup, flies look totally weird, being so close to a thing that could swallow them up in a blink of an eye. Coexisting, huh)))

Yeah, I thought about that too. Maybe the flies clean the spider from diff food remains. Symbiotic coexisting)))
