Ah, I think its mostly two things- the shortness and the toes. I heard somewhere that when drawing feet you should remember face-length=hand-size= foot minus toes. Which I suppose is sort of right, because if I put the base of my hand on my chin, I can just about touch hair line, and my hands about the size of my foot, without my toes *is trying it* I mean, I don't really pay much attention to that, but good to know, right? So yes, you're right with the smallness.
And I think with the toes I think they'll look more natural if - argh don't know how to describe it- sort of over-lap eachother? So you can only see half of the second toe, because the 1st covers it up? Does that make sense? *incoherant explanation alert!!!*
