Eh, I always liked Lavi, and the latest manga volume (American release) got me hooked on Linali. As long as this doesn't turn into DBZ like so many other Shounen Jump titles, I'll stick with it and maybe even write fanfic.

Hahaha ya! I understand your confusion. It's because her name in the manga is spelled differently from the anime. Let me break it down for ya.
Manga:
Linali is the green hair girl
Rabi is the red hair guy
Anime:
Lenalee is the green hair girl
Lavi is the red hair guy
I don't exactly understand it all myself as to why there are different spellings, but I believe that later on they finally call her Lenalee in the manga.

You easily capture the things that cannot be simply said. It's like an unspoken truce between these two. I bet Lavi wishes he could do so much more for her. Like in the chapter that he saw her crying and confessing that she hated the Innocence - the look on his face made me think he wished he could take that pain away from her.
