Description i've got pocketfuls of spare change
scribbled poetry on scrap paper
bits of hopes and scraps of dreams
plastered on my wallet

now

i've got a pocketful of empty
discarded pieces of scrap paper
hope-dream debris on my jeans
and a mind void of poetry.

i like the idea much. i'm drawn to the first stanza but not the last, though.
