Am I seriously the only one who noticed Piston Hondo's got the kabuki face going on? I'm not (just) talking the restaurant logo, I'm talking about the theater make-up in general. No, really. Look at his Eddie Viser artwork and compare to actual kabuki makeup , especially how the eyebrows and lips are painted and how said paint shapes the nose. I can't be the only one who noticed this. Please prove me wrong.

Drawing's on a napkin because I was eating out with my little brother for his birthday that evening. A "don't bring your drawing folder" rule was placed on me to "improve communication", but the point is rather moot when everyone sat quietly at the table the whole time .

Also, bottom comic isn't a rip on Indian cuisine. In fact, I love Indian food. The above meal is my favorite, usually ordered with a mango lassi. Sadly, my experience with Indian dishes are rather limited, as some restaurants would put nuts (especially pistachios) in some of their meals, and I am deathly allergic to nuts .
