Description
Well, seeing as my indecisiveness caused me to miss the group's opening, here's her app for now. As always, critiques as always welcome.
Why is she moving to Vyse from Armonia? Well.....you'll find out....
-------------------------------------------------------
Current Name: Marionette Jakobs
Real Name: Felicity Elbertson
Age: 25
Gender/sex: Female
Birthday: December 20th
Occupation: Freelance/Bounty Hunter
Pokemon: #678 Meowstic
Nature: Adamant
Characteristic: Good endurance
Ability: Infiltrator – Ignores the effects of an enemy’s Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, and Mist. Also allows the user to bypass Substitues.
Height: 5’ 7” (1.7 m)
Weight: 122 lbs. (55.34 kg)
Personality: “This is a waste of time. But it’s your money.”
+ Honest: She says what she thinks, does her work, and pays her debts. Not exactly a model citizen, but not the worst.
+ Professional: She’s not someone who’s just gonna take the money and run. She’s got a bit of a reputation to uphold and definitely won’t leave a job half-finished. No good soldier would.
= Serious: Least likely to get/make a joke. There are very few situations that she’ll take lightly, and this attitude combined with her being blunt and snarky up front makes her come off in conversations as very cold.
= Obedient: What can I say? She’s a soldier. Not accounting for her moral code, if she’s on your time, she’s under your command.
- Greedy: Despite her honest tendencies, she’ll be quick to jack up the price of her services if she can get away with it. She also has a bad habit of looting corpses (or people she thinks are unconscious). Hey, every bit counts, right?
- Distrustful: A common side-effect when the organization you’ve been a part of for the majority of your life crosses you like that. But don’t worry. She doesn’t immediately trust about 96% of the people she meets. So don’t feel too bad if she doesn’t trust you.
History: “I spent years bonding with her......And it only took them a day to take her away from me.”
Felix’s childhood…….wasn’t really much of one. She was born into an unground military organization, known as the Zero Division, where she was raised and trained to be the perfect soldier. You’d think that being raised to be a soldier from day one with an organization whose policy is, “You pay us and we loan you the best soldiers around”, wouldn’t be too great. But Felix didn’t know anything else. So she loved it. Because of this, she effortlessly flew through the ranks becoming one of their best soldiers. It was through this training where she found her love of hand-to-hand combat and mechanic works.
When she was 10, she met her first, and only, friend there, a Skitty named Marionette Jakobs. Years past and as they grew closer and closer together, the organization began seeing this relationship as a threat to their status quo. When Felix was 19, she and Marionette were sent out on separate solo missions to assassinate a "high priority target". They were both dumped into a blizzard and given thermal goggles to work with. Neither of them knew that they were out to kill each other.
Unfortunately, Felix accomplished her mission.
She hadn’t even realized what she had done until she went to go loot Marionette’s corpse. Let’s just say……she didn’t take it well. Exactly 24 hours after returning to base, Felix got stabby. Going on an all-out rampage, she killed 21 and a half (yes. Half.) people before she was subdued and imprisoned, so the higher-ups could figure out what to do with her. Two days later, a group of mercenaries stormed the base, mercilessly slaughtering everyone inside. Thankfully, Felix managed to grab their attention and struck a deal. She would be freed under the circumstances that 1) she’d help kill everyone here, 2) she gets to kill the guy in charge, and 3) she gets them into the armory. All three conditions were met.
From the armory, she picked out some armor, a sword, a hand cannon, a gold-plated gun (which she later sold), and as much ammo as she could carry. She took off on one of the Divisions' ships, and never returned to that place again.
6 years later, Felix is traveling from planet to planet, working as a mercenary under the name of her best friend, Marionette Jakobs. Need an escort, want an assassin, or just looking for a dance partner? It doesn’t matter the job. As long as it pays, Felix will take it. She’s constantly tormented by recurring nightmares of her friend and has turned to taking sleeping pills so she doesn’t lose out on sleep. Her travels eventually brought her to Vyse. Who knows, maybe she can find some peace here.
Moveset: “Let’s do this by the book…Just kidding.”
Sucker Punch – This move enables the user to attack first. Fails if the target is not readying an attack.
Used well into a fight after Felix has taken her time to analyze her opponent. When they ready an attack, she rushes them down and gets a quick punch in. Usually doesn’t result in her cancelling their attack, but a good hit is worth it to her.
Power-Up Punch ™ - The user strikes their opponent over and over, making their fists harder. Raises attack by 1 stage.
Felix pummels her opponent over and over again. Raises her attack by 1 stage per use (not per punch).
Psychic – The target(s) is hit by a strong telekinetic force. May also lower Sp. Defense by 1 Stage.
Lifting her ears up, Felix lets loose a huge blast of psychic energy, which may lower enemies’ special defense by 1 stage. Or, she can lift them up and fling them away. This does no damage, but they can still get hurt depending on where they land….
Outside of battle, Felix uses this to lift and bring things to her, or keep things floating up in the air to keep them within arms reach. She can also use it to lift herself up into the air, allowing her to "fly" for as long as she can keep it up.
Charge Beam – The user attacks with an electric charge. High chance to boost the user’s Sp. Attack by 1 stage.
The psychic organs on Felix’s ears begin emitting electricity. When lifted, they fire off a beam of electricity. Any possible leftover electricity can be used to augment her Psychic attack, or further strengthen this attack.
Outside of battle, Felix can uses this to charge up/activate devices that require electricity, like the capacitor on her sword. She can also overload devices, so watch out for that.
Weapons: “Never was one for cybernetics. Machines can fail. Swords can’t.”
The Bronco: A powerful pistol she picked from the Zero Division's armory. Weighing in at 5 pounds, it fires 5.56 mm rounds (.223 can be a substitution) from a 5 chamber cylinder. Can fire armor piercing rounds and boasts enough recoil to knock her on her ass.
Sword: A sword she picked from the Zero Division's armory. It has an electric capacitor that can electrify the blade, which she keeps charged up herself. When turned on, it emits a soft humming sound and leaves behind a blue streak with every swing. Due to its size, it’s better suited for slashing and brute force rather than stabbing and precision.

Hobbies: “Huh? Oh. Right. A reference. Very cute.”
Boxing: Hand-to-hand combat is her preferred method of fighting, after all. She once thought about going into professional boxing, but decided against it, fearing that some people would recognize her.
Mechanic work: Not everything in military training has to do with combat. Felix loves working with machines and it shows. How do you think she’s kept her ship running?
Piloting: She’s a pretty decent pilot. Though she’d be better if she didn’t just enter coordinates into the navigation system and let the auto-pilot take her there.
Eating: This girl has a MASSIVE appetite. While she has to cut back due to her (currently) unstable income, if she can afford it, she’ll feast. Treating her would be a very big financial mistake.
Favorite food/flavor: “Awww. That’s......sweet?”
- Chocolate.
- Especially in cake form.
- Otherwise, she doesn’t really have a preference.
- Strong dislike of seafood, however.
- Asking her if “she can has cheeseburger” is a good way to get punched in the face. Unless, of course, she actually wants a cheeseburger.

Extras/Fun Facts: “Sounds cool......That pun was not intentional. I apologize.”
- Catcalling her is also a good way to get punched in the face.
- Her ship is an ASTOR - Defender R500. It's commonly used by soldiers to travel to far off places to fulfill missions they've been dispatched to. Has plenty of amenities built in to it, as it's designed to be lived out of by up to 4 people. Armed with high power Vandergraffen lasers.
- Before she assisted in the Divisions demise, her rank in the organization was Captain.
- She is addicted to sleeping pills.
- The wrap skirt around her waist was originally Marionette’s. Felix wears it because it’s the last thing she has to remember her by.
- When fist fighting, she uses the orthodox stance.
- She has only fired her gun a total of 6 times.
- She has a surplus of ammo for it, too.
- She always keeps her gun fully loaded. The first shot loaded in is also an armor piercing round.
- Really likes music, but tends to keep that a secret.
- She's a lesbian.
- The first thing she did after realizing her freedom from the Division? Get highlights.
- Unfortunately, she spilled dye on her tails while doing that. One tail is mostly changed, while the other is……..splotchy….at best.
- Despite her preference for close quarters combat, she is equally proficient with medium and long-range weapons.
- She had more armor when she started out. She sold off bits of it to sustain herself.
- If she lets you know her real name then she trusts you very much.
- If you do know her real name, she also prefers to be called Felix.
- She's been having recurring dreams about some boarding school on an island recently. She seems happy there but.......whatever. They're only dreams.
- Her ideal voice actress would be Lydia Mackay, the voice of Athena from Borderlands.
