Description
In the same vein as this pic , here's another boss "weapon" for Cinder.After defeating Thunder , Cinder masters the control of her circuitry. She is now able to concentrate and route electricity into her arms in such a way that they turn into a makeshift coil gun. This greatly increases the destructive power of her Cannon (that big hole on her chest). It also allows her to fire the Cannon even if she hasn't built up enough heat and pressure inside her body to fire it in the first place (at a lower attack power, but still destructive).

You combined 2 very destructive elements: fire and electricity, and mixed it into one fierce, kick ass looking robot master!
As always, your use of effects is truly something to take notes over! It will always leave me speechless and lacking of an appropriate description
Is she basically the "Megaman" (and by that I mean the hero protagonist) of your fan world? Or do all of your robot masters gain upgrades for defeating other robot masters?
I have to say, either way, I love the concept for this! and her design is killer! I just plain adore it!
But damn, I had the idea of a feline fire type robot master myself. Mainly from inspiration from the song "Eye of the Tiger".
I will definitely have to take a unique approach after seeing your OC!

I was thinking that every bot in this series can get a different ability from beating everyone else in the series. It's one of the main elements in my story (which isn't even complete yet). But yeah, she's one of the main protagonists in my world.

That's a pretty neat theme!
Reminds me of a fan game called Starman Upgraded, where you play as Starman and fight Stardroids.
Defeating each Stardroid would upgrade Star Man, like allowing him to jump higher, increasing the speed of his Star Crash, stuff like that.
Basically, it gave me the idea of what if robot masters can upgrade themselves if they beat other robot masters?
Never put that idea into action, but you seem to really be doing an awesome job implementing a similar idea into your OC's!
I guess once I've finished doing a few more OC's I will go ahead and try for my own fire felyne OC

Yeah! I was thinking about stuff like that in the Starman game you mentioned! My primary inspiration is actually Megaman X4 though, specifically on how they handled Zero. Also want to take how combo-friendly that game was with Zero.
I also mentioned this before, but I didn't want to directly use any of the official characters in my world. I also don't feel like making a "Megaman" type main hero character, so I just thought of playing around with the bosses I currently have.

Honestly your idea seems genius!
I've managed to come up with several back stories for my characters, but the problem is wrapping them all together into one coherent plot.
I kind of wanted to make my protagonist, a trio of brothers rather than just one dude.
Though it is hard to make a protagonist without cliche-ing it up. Plus you gotta make the protagonists interesting, with some character development going on.
I guess for now I might just illustrate short stories for each of my OC's when I get the chance ^_^

I guess. Though so far, I'm going with every character having the ability to learn abilities as a key story element. But as canonical "heroes" go, I was thinking Cinder and Rime, with Neon as an antihero of sorts.

Haha right? I was planning on making Neon a straight up villain type character. But she really grew on me, and I couldn't take making her truly evil anymore. I peg her as someone who's just morally questionable for now. ^^
And I would like to ask for help, but I don't have a huge chunk of the design plotted down yet. Just bits and piece. A lot of bits and pieces.

I LOVE your lighting effects! The combination of the yellow tint of the lightning and electricity with the contrasting orange glow of her original magma all coming from different angles yet still having an affect on the overall picture is just so masterfully done. The effort you put into shading the picture from various light sources (something that I just don't have an eye for) is all there and top not. It's always been one of my favorite aspects of your drawings.
Of course, it goes without saying that I admire your artistic ability at every stage, not just coloring and lighting.

Still having trouble with multiple light sources to be honest, so I'm glad you like the lighting here. I just try to keep the lighting simple and limit it to two main sources (and colors). Then I add smaller and more subtle lighting effects for other parts. ^^
