Description
This is the first manipulation for my ´Dark Fairytales´ project.

Snow white is probably one of my favourite of the tales, but I like them all anyway. This one is turned around, the white woman in the back is her step mother, she did all she could to stay pretty but it wasn’t good enough, her step daughter was the ‘fairest of them all’.

I first started making blood on the apple, and it grew from there, so it wasn’t something I was planning.

A little information about the piece:
The mirror Snow is actually two different pictures, I didn’t find one that was looking that way and had her hand against the mirror.
The dress of the stepmother is actually the dress off Snow white, inverted, but it looks like it’s real.
It was almost done a month ago, but I wasn’t pleased with it, after changing a few details I found it complete.
Even if it was done I didn’t post it, and I’m glad, because I found the frame.
