Kindle Raced to the door to try and catch up, but froze.

Orion was sitting a little ways away from the house, staring up at the sky.

And he was talking...

But not to kindle.

"And that constellation is called Sagittarius. I know that's a big word, but it means someone who is wise, and has good judgment. Sometimes I wonder if Kindle is one." He chuckled softly. "She's my sister, and she was the one who kept you safe and warm for so long."

He smiled and gestured with his nose. "That one is Gemini, the star you will be. Which means you will be expressive and quick-witted." He smirked. "If that's true then you will be quite the handful."

Orion took a deep breath and looked back to the sky.

"And that one, right above us is called Orion. That's right...Orion. I chose that name after the constellation. Orion was said to be an incredible hunter, but angered Chii with his lack of respect for life."

He was quiet a moment, then looked to the egg in his lap.

"I guess...in a way...I was like him."

He gently moved the egg to rest against his chest.

"You see...Daddy was confused for a long time. He thought since... he..."

Orion struggled to find the words, feeling full of guilt.

After a few moments of silence, her sat up and held the egg in both paws.

"I don't know if you can hear me in there...But I want you to know...That I love you." He said quietly.

"Daddy let you go once...but...I promise that I..."

He felt tears come and hugged the egg gently.

"Daddy will never let you go again..."
