introducing my first irken oc! Tik! he is a fairly competent and accomplished invader aside from the fact that he is a nervous wreck and often fails due to blowing situations out of proportion or cracking under pressure
he is fairly reserved and nervous which can make him off putting to interact with, and he often fidgets
if you can get close to him, he can be more warm, silly, and fun to be around, but this is difficult, even if you do get closer to him, one mistake on either end can cause him to build up walls all over again

tik gets sent to earth for two reasons...
1. his nerves are becoming too much of a compromise to his and his colleagues missions, so the tallest decide to force him on 'vacation'
2. the tallest mainly want him to keep zim from calling so much, in this little story thing im rolling with zim has been trying to contact the tallest on a near daily basis and they can't take it anymore, so theyre taking advantage of tiks forced vacation to deal with their problem (though forcing someone to spend time with zim doesnt seem like the best stress reliever)

it actually takes tik a long while to build up the courage to interact with zim (any interaction is tough for him), and so he spends a good month of so attending skool and observing zim from a far, until zim finally notices and confronts him, forcing tik to reveal his identity

anyways, although tik knows well of zims history of irken laughing stock and galatic menace, he actually finds himself to like zim quite a bit, and they actually form a genuine friendship, which is foreign to both of them haha

they will eventually fall in love, because i wanted to give zim a boyf, i think tik falls first

in the end tik leaves after one earth year and both him and zim find themselves in a better state of mind and it benefits both them and their performance on their missions, but of course, the flaws still remain and are still having to be dealt with (this isnt a love cures type of thing), but it gets just a little bit easier
