So, I've sort of picked up the tradition of re-drawing a very specific piece of mine every year near the end of June. The piece has a LOT of emotional meaning to me that I still feel even now, years later. I try to do a stranger, more unique way of drawing when I do this piece every year too. I modify it as well to what I feel still represents the emotions of the piece.See the original from 2013 along with the story behind this piece (artist's description)

i think this is my favourite pic of yours actually. it's really interesting to see how you've evolved through these pictures. this one is so much more fluid.. the pose looks more natural. i love how you drew her face too and i gotta say that hair is amazing! the symbolism is great and you can tell there's a lot of emotion behind this piece.

Ah! That means a lot to me. Even after 2 years, this piece hold a lot of sentimental and emotional value to me, more so than any other piece I've ever made. Not only does it help me work through my emotions and reflect on past experiences, it also helps me see just how much I've changed and improved in my art.
