I love the gloomy color of this. I almost think you should try it with them even more to one side or the other, to reference the inherent imbalance in most relationships? Whatever you do, I like that you're experimenting

I like your suggestion. And in a way that was a snippet of the reason they weren't in the exact middle. I think it would've been neat at different angles too... I really need to go back! ...I really need to get more memory for the camera too... heck. you know what? when I wrote "been neat at different angles", neat was originally spelled 'neet'. Experimenting and corrections are apart of life.

I love the focus and composition of this photo, but I think I would prefer it if the people were not there. Maybe I'm missing the point by saying that? IT'S MY OPINION DAMMIT

Yes sir, it is your opinion. I was going for a romanticized vision, and the models weren't exactly participating... I sometimes wonder why my acquantances don't indulge in vanity long enough for me to take an alright photo.

a tip.. while taking the photo, make sure your hands are fixed and breathe in. then take the snap
