Description
Working on the design for Odette and Derek's (yes, the Swan Princess) daughter. Or, well, when she's somewhere between 16 and 18, and she meets up with Stephan again. Her brothers are going to be difficult but, really, I only may need to draw one of them and considering Derek's horrendous hair cut, it's easy to say they'll look fairly 80's
But Elise inherited her mother's looks, mostly. So, yeah. Here's an attempt.

Nice work! Her hair seems a bit reminiscent of Belle or Ariel, but I think that's because she's in black and white. And any similarities would be considered a compliment, since Belle and Ariel are fairly strong women and Odette . . . well . . she was a strong little girl, and a feisty teenager, but once she was taken prisoner by Rothbart her nerve vanished in a puff of white feathers.

Yeah, but she got her gusto back in movies 2 & 3 so her daughter is fairly strong, or at least I'm aiming to make her so. Granted she's got six brothers so she has to learn to stand her ground sometime. lol
Oh god! Derek's hair was awful!! I've hated it forever lol Oooh good to know on the names of who, but it's easier for me to just lump them in with Bluth for my writing.

Well, she certainly didn't cry as much in the sequels. And kudos to her for NOT being the one that had to die in the CGI Christmas special (yes, there is a CGI Christmas special; yes, it's as bad as it sounds; but Derek died in that one instead of Odette). But . . . idk, she could've been a bit stronger. But I'm probably being too harsh. I certainly don't blame her for her first crying session; after losing her father, her home, and her humanity all in one night, crying was MORE than called for! But I feel like she gave up her quest to save herself a bit too quickly.
I always made fun of him as a kid; he wore the same outfit and had the same haircut all throughout his life. Odette at least got some costume changes and a few new hairstyles.
Fair enough; that seems to be the big division between animated Princesses. Disney, Bluth, and everybody else

Oh yeah, haven't seen the Christmas special. Don't really think I want to, but I'm sure it'll happen someday lol Well, really, we could probably blame the ballet for how her character is
Well, men's clothes and hair styles change far more slowly than women's, historically. So I suppose it doesn't matter to them as much as to us.

To be honest, I didn't know it existed until last semester when I saw the commercials for it. My roommate thought I was going to choke on my drink, I was so shocked. Then I Google'd the plot. To be fair, it doesn't sound TOO bad. But it does sound like the Beauty and the Beast Christmas Special mixed with one of the Swan Princess sequels. And it is a bit late in the game for it, considering everyone from the original is either dead, retired, or moved on to bigger and better things.
I guess. But it would've been nice to see more variety.
