Firstly, the title -'Peace' - so appropriate. This pic is just peaceful, it makes me feel relaxed and calm. It's very naturalistic, the mellow pastel colours help with this, as does the grass.
The layers work really well. The blurred background contrasts with the sharp image in the front of the picture to make it very much the focus. And the longer grass bits at the front help to make it seem realistic as they have this sort of vague 3D effect.
The pose and the facial expression - very peaceful (that word again...). All in all this a beautiful pic... and I just love the hat. ^.^
