I put it in mixed media because I spent quite a lot of time on Photoshop with it... but it's still mostly done in traditional~

Asides from the red tint and bg, I can't notice any of the photoshop bits.
And the shaaaading. Incredible! The extreme highlights make him/her look really badass.

Since the avatar looked very dark I put a dark color, but I might have overdone it, indeed XD
