Bluh the scanner killed a lot of the nice little details in the feathers and fur :< It looks more impressive in RLAnyways won a commission from me from the Black Tourney and she wanted a pic of her char Featherfoot.
I decided to do it in pen, cause I've been digging my new pen skills lately. Also I wanted something traditional so I could send it along with her other BT prizes
Anyways hope you like it Blue, she was really fun to draw~

I feel like the perspective doesn't add up properly in the upper wings. Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong. But the mystery is going to haunt me forever.

So how do you do it in pen? How do you start it out, with gride lines or you just wing it?

Oh gosh no, no grid lines. I sketch very very lightly at first to get the rough shape down and then I go darker with various pen sizes
