**Also the audio loops

I heard this song from the singer heather-lanham from Newgrounds and immediately fell in love with her voice. Go check her out.

This is part of a fan fiction that I'm writing for Trixie and Gilda. Both outcast from Ponyville, they decide to team up and travel across Equestria, Bonnie and Clyde style.

I always imagined that both Trixie and Gilda had troubled pasts and just have a bad rap due to them closing themselves off to who they really are. Trixie learned a healing incantation from her mother as a lullaby.

Only after the falling rain
when the world is still and bright
you can hear what the trees will sing
and the darkness of the night

but the world never answers your questions
and the skies well they always turn blue
If you try all your life to find answers
what do they matter to you?

Only after the falling rain
when the world is still and bright
you can hear what the birds will sing
on the early morning light

but the world never answeres your questions
and the stars well they always go on
If you try all your life to find answers
who will you tell when your gone

and now more people can find this pic and this song.

I could have sworn I commented.

I can't wait for more of them. They're a really underappreciated couple.

Thank you for the kind comment! I'm glad you liked it. I'll be uploading more art and a fanfic as soon as I get more of a free chance to get a few chapters out of the way as a buffer.

Well, generally comments for art have either a positive feedback or constructive criticism based around the overall structure of the piece itself. They are usually about the flow of the work, composition or visual presentation of the art.

For example:
"I like this about the piece because __________."
"I didn't like this about the piece because ___________. Next time try doing this instead,____________."

If it is about the context and the placement of the characters themselves and why they are in the situation they are in, then I can understand how it seems out of the ordinary. This takes place in the middle of a story that I am currently writing, I just saw the art in my head after hearing this song and needed to get it out of my system. Hence, this comic was created.

Constructive comments help artist grow, whether they be positive or negative. Feedback is an artist's best friend and their worst enemy.

I quell my initial instinct to try to and add to your reply, or to adjust something in it, but there is no need. Brohoof.

So much to point out here...

...First of all, the artistic aspect of this piece has so many qualities to it. It maintains visual appeal while still having a mildly emotional effect, as well as the illusion of going somewhere else as I look at it.

Second, I'd love to be an editor for that fan fiction at some point. The idea behind it itself was great before, but it seems so right after reading this.

Third... In tandem with the voice, I didn't even notice that the sound was looping, and I was genuinely disappointed as I scrolled down past the last frame. This isn't something I'm going to forget. All the time you put into this was well worth it, and I hope to see more.

My favorite part was the lulling, drawing effect that this had. Just... Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad that you liked it. :3

I'll e-mail you the chapters as I finish writing them out. Maybe you can help me figure out the best order for them too.
