it took me a bit to figure out what exactly was going on here, but to have the sides of the character's alter ego expressed as two different halves of the body is a nice idea, but with this isometric angle making it look like it's actually happening makes this a whole lot better.

i'm probably just gonna end up restating what i said in the vision segment, so just use that as reference.

i'm typically not one for the gradient brush tool look, since it can appear slightly amateur at times to me, but that makes up with the character design, which is well done in it's own right.

the concept of this image mixed with its execution defensively holds my attention better than other attempts. definitely praising this one. well done.

This is a really great Drawing, you must have spent ages on it!
PROS:
The colors are really eye-pleasing and really add a new take to Luna's show style!
The custom design on Nightmare is really nice and really suits her regal precence.
The shaping and expressions are all perfect and really work well!
The linework is very smooth and very good in general.
LESS-PRO:
The lines going down are good, but abrubtly stop at the horn. Maybe next time you could make it go down the horn?
The cutiemark is a bit small, so you could make it larger next time.
This is a really epic piece that you can be proud of!

This piece is really good and well designed. The colors are vibrant and bright yet haunting at the same time. The eyes are done perfectly to a tea. The only issues are I can barely see her wing. Her expression is great too by the way. The purple line during the center would be better as white to light blue. She could also have a few more stars in the left side of her mane too. The lighting on the eyes needs a little work. The reflection boxes are very distracting. They could be smaller and more centered. All around good piece with not much wrong. Good job.

this makes me feel a bit nostalgic, I once draw a girl with galaxy hair ^^ well, the picture is old and bad now hehe
I'm affraid I'm not going to be very useful this time because no matter how hard I think I don't know what advice to give to make your picture better.
I'm still have many things to learn about art, and light environments is something very difficult!!!!
But maybe I can show you some videos. It's an artist called Istebrak and she makes critique videos where she teaches a lot and shows how to fix issues by painting over in photoshop, it's really interesting!

Oh one thig I can suggest: maybe you should drop the thin lines in the hair, I think it would look better without, now it's only a bit disturbing.
But you should try with and without and see what it looks like!!!

I've been trying to find a word to describe this drawing, but I couldn't find one good enough to summarize it* 
You created a wonderful drawing to a wonderful PMV, I love how you chose to represent the moment during Luna's transformation into Nightmare Moon, as well as that purple line dividing her in half (as her soul is also, symbolically, torn in half between good and evil). Everything else plays on the wonderful contrast between these two personalities: her different eyes, the different shades of color in her mane, Nightmare Moon's garments that dress but also "imprison" Luna as they appear...
Not sure if I'm poetic by myself tonight or if it was this drawing that made me poetic, but that's what I see when I look at it
