Description It's true.

I mean, seriously. What kind of children's game teaches kids to talk to strangers and except gifts from them and to break into other peoples houses to rifle through their trash looking for TM's or rare candy?

...

LOL, but I really do love Pokemon games (I'm working on Diamond right now on my spankin' new DS Lite! XD) But I think their moral compass is kind of short...

Sorry I couldn't find a way to make it funnier (I was at my grandparents' house when I drew it, and their senile ways were sucking the creativity out from me)

I was going to add this as part of the 100 art theme challenge, but maybe I'll wait until something else comes up ^_^

Pokemon teaches parents that letting your kid go on a dangerous life long adventure that may or may not kill them, and have them go off without adult supervision...

oh yeah, and animal fighting...

and grown people harassing children...

and child endangerment...

Well at least it doesn't have grown ups stealing from kids...

I think the pokemon world is probably extremely different than our world is and it probably isn't understood correctly. I'm not saying that making animals fight is actually good thing i'm just saying that the pokemon world may have reasons for what is has. Pokemon batling probably isn't animal abuse and keeping them in pokeballs actually wouldn't make them hungry, but rather keep them in a habitat where they like it and can survive. When it comes to comparing the pokemon world to ours and how we would percieve things in the pokemon world and games personally, you would need to explain a lot but all that really shouldn't matter in pokemon because its an awesome game and anime.

Precisely, I think for some reason the Pokemon world would be more peaceful with very little crime.

Hahahahaha, there are more things like that XDD
You can go gambling in most of the games (before they censored it lol)

Drug abuse: Protein, Carbon, Iron,... to boost the fighting skills and stuff.

And when you catch a wild PokΓ©mon... who says it doesn't have any family to take care of? Maybe it just wanted to find some food for the kids and then it never returns? X'D

Also forgot to metion the game corners as number 4: its okay if youre underage, you can still gamble.

OTHER USEFUL THINGS THIS GAME TEACHES YOU:
1.it is possible to capture giant dragons with legendary powers capable of KILLING YOU.
2.it is possible to catch a 1000 pound whale with a fishing pole.
3.whenever you see a criminal gang or a certain rival with red hair, the first thing you should do is go straight to their leader or to said rival and challenge them even if they are stronger and smarter and the cops can handle them.

Ive always laughed at how impossible all this stuff is.

thanks to you I play Pokemon Platinum again....right now I'm at the Professors house. When you look into the refrigerator, It says: "Mhh! The refrigerator is full of sweets!"

So, now its shure, Rowan is a pedophil (or something like that)

In the german version of Pearl it's:
"Mh, der Kühlschrank ist voller Süßigkeiten, lecker!"

I think thats in every language the same thing >.<

It's ok to mug trainers. Since you KO'd their Pokemon, you can just take their money. Don't worry, apparently guns and knives don't exist.

Also don't worry about Team Rocket/Maga/Aqua/Galactic/Whatever... despite them constantly sounding dangerous, they'd never think of just killing a child.. that's apparently illegal. XD
