Description It is one of the most recognized, but not often mentioned occurrences in the fiction world. The fact that behind every hero, there is an awesome father. Robert Peterson is no different. Time would fail me to list the attributes of Peter "Rock" Carver, the Warrior Born, but it was he alone who unlocked the true form and power of Runcaeden. He alone could wield it like it was an extension of his arm. It was terrifying yet beautiful to watch. He who was the last Red standing at the Massacre of Silent Valley, wounded unto death, yet unflinching. Beings like him are born once in a century, and are remembered for far longer. Excuse me while I go wipe the tears from my eyes. (Listen to "Hey Brother" by Avicii for maximum enjoyment.)

I get it.

The name was actually in reference to the Tales of Peter Rabbit. I figured if you're gonna name a rabbit something, may as well be traditional.

What a fellow. Memories can quickly turn rosy, and smooth away any sharp edges. Be careful not to dwell too long down memory lane, you may just destroy the image you cherish.

That being said, I can't think of anything to say against this hero. Not one thing. He was a good ol' boy, in life and death.

What is this from? Are you creating a story for each piece, or drawing from a story? It's so detailed and fascinating. Although I would disagree that behind every hero there is a great father. You can't choose family, and a quick stroll through tv tropes would show the multitude of plot devices dedicated to characters that get on with it without any regard for family or heredity. A good hero could have an awesome father, but doesn't have to.

This is an interesting dichotomy between light and dark shades. Dark plates of armor and light plates of fur, reflections of armor against riveting and straps, light and dark fur, designs on a cape and a decorative tie... it's all very nice. Restful on the eyes. I like the easygoing confidence in his eyes; there's a lot of personality there. Your depiction of fabric is good, as well as the pose. I like the detail you put into the fur. It adds depth to the outline, and a nice contrast to the smooth lines of the cape.

Thus far, every picture I have uploaded to this site (omitting the ones of Kirby, obviously) is but a visual depiction of some facet of a greater story, which I am currently trying to get published. And as for my statement on Father's, it would seem I have misspoken. Not surprisingly: I was too deep in thought too properly consider my words when I wrote the description for this piece. Perhaps I shall edit it. And thank you for the feedback on the character himself. Peter was both a beacon for others to look to in battle, and a bulwark for them to rally behind. What a Red should be.
