This has to be one of my best digital drawings, if not my best.nearly went insane because photoshop decided to crash and I thought I lost this forever.
Death the kid from Soul EaterΒ©
took me around 3 hours in total to complete this thing.

I'm guessing you're working with a mouse, so I applaud you for your patience x__x I remember when I drew with a mouse, it was time consuming!
I think it's pretty good, and you'll only get better with time ^^
Another person commented on relying on the bucket tool...
So I can give you a tip that might help if you don't know it.. I dunno if you're using the bucket tool, but you can use the magic wand tool instead and once you select an area you want to fill, go up to Select> Modify > Expand
Then you can increase your selection by one pixel ( or however much you need ), so when you fill the area, it won't leave the little bit of white around the lines~

but I've only been doing digital art for about a month or so, so I'm not really used to drawing on it yet, I did use the magic wand too for some spots like the black hair, but it still tends to leave some white pixels behind, I'm not sure why. >..<

That's just the way it is with the selection tool and pixels, it can't get it all perfectly. But if you do what I said, you can save some time from having to fill those bits by hand.

I was already getting a bit impatient with some of the colouring since I had to fix a lot of strange lines and I had to re-draw the back of the head since it looked a bit wonky originally.
I almost felt like DTK working on this because of how frustrating dealing with some of the detail was. xD

This is pretty good. My advice, though, would be to not rely on the bucket tool and make sure all white spots are filled in, because there's a few spots that aren't filled with color.

I rarely use the bucket tool for stuff like this, I was using the magic want tool for the black part of the hair, normally I just set the layer to multiply and just colour it in and erase and of the colour that was going outside the lines, but since his hair colour was really close to the colour of the lines it was a bit harder for me to see the points I needed to erase so I had to colour it like that. >.<
but thank you for the input, hopefully my later works will improve upon this since I'm still a beginner
