Meet the baddest girl in town, Downburst! She is another of Rainbow's "surprise" pregnancies, and perhaps another hopeful attempt to secure the Dash family legacy. Burst is confident in her flying skills, being privately trained by two Wonderbolts since birth, and tends to be cocky because of her parentage. It's not a huge surprise, but Downburst is in the top of her flight class and is the talk of the team, expected to be just as successful as her mother and father. She has every other trainee begging to be her wingpony, and everyone else proclaiming themselves her rivals to try and outfly her. And because of it, Burst expects the world to be handed to her. She still puts in the training to be a great aerial performer, but expects everyone to look at her as a living legend. Downburst's specialty is high-speed flight and the ability to dive and maneuver at extreme angles. She is the apple of her mother's eye and is believed to be the next "Rainbow Dash".
