This is some kind of mash between Thor movie'verse and comic'verse. I started to draw it after rereading the Loki miniseries and seeing the last panel of this page ( [link] ) where Odin introduces Loki to Thor.Poor Loki, he looks so miserable! I mean, no wonders he turned out bad, he was basically kidnapped from his (probably abusing) family by his father's worst enemy and taken to live among the people that despise him and his race... I don't think I'll eveer see him as evil, just misunderstood. Poor baby! β₯

I know the series you're talking about, I think it was always cannon in the comics that he was older and knew he was a frost giant.

Poor Loki's, but 'Into the Mystery" did rectify some of that by making him and kid and bonding with Thor. But he's back to being a crappy-adult again thou.

I believe the english title is The Trials of Loki, a four parts miniseries first published in dicember 2010. I must say Fiumara's art is not... hum, exhilarating, but if you like Loki's character it's a fun read. And the covers are good.
I can't seem to find another scan of that particular panel. But, basically, it's just Odin intruducing a ragged, sad and bundled-up-in-a-ratty-fur kid Loki to kid Thor, saying that they are going to be brothers from now on.
