The NEW 2013 Landscape Calendar is now available! To order, select 'Art Gifts' on the right after clicking the link.Before sunrise. The actual sunrise sucked because of the clouds.
Location: Bavaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 10-24mm + Tiffen Warm Polarizer.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 from 3 x RAW shot in 1.5 EV exposures.

I can't blame you there are a lot of nice pictures. I like this one for May though probably just because it is my birthday month! Everyone is picky when picking a calender about which picture is for the month of their birthday.

The place seems to be stuck in time, but the water blurs so you can see time I still taking place.
I don't know if this was intentional, but the photo makes everything kind of numb feeling, like a dream.

first one of your photos that i don't like. There is a lot of movement in the sky and the ocean. The ships are not big enough to add to the scene, but big enough to be seen. The trees on the left add a dark atmosphere and seem to be foreshadowing danger. Yet all of this is covered in these rather romantic, dreamy colours, thus creating a strange juxtaposition giving this image far more meaning than most other landscape photos. In conclusion, this one is your most intresting and perhaps deepest piece. (I have a tendency to overanalyze)
