I would like to say that this piece of artwork is truly amazing and the detail of it, is very good.

Your artwork has a sense of realism to it making it seem to be alive and vibrant which could the the colors or the type of art style you use however your piece of artwork does captivate the eye of a fellow artist and stuns many due to the detail and the many small fine lines you put in. The color and the shading brings out the realism in the artwork and makes it seem more realistic which you have done a great job at and I am very impressed by your art work and I love the design of the art work and how it show the detail in the fur and and the yes of the dog. I like the fur as the detail in it is very fine and along with the blending off the colors and the tonal shading provides a great means the great a magnificent piece of artwork which can seem realistic and amazing people. The eyes seem so real and the detail is so amazing and it's stunning to look at and I like it a lot and I see that it's hazel brown eyes looking back at me seeming so real. The tongue and the ears make it seem so real with the colors and the shading making it seem like a real dog which makes it seem much more better and I would love more of this type of artwork from you. 

However the is another side to this but it's negative but I would like to comment on the dogs jaw or mouth. The teeth seem real and great but the jaw seems off maybe it adds more realism to it but I can't really tell but I still love the image no the less.  For me there is not much to talk about so yeah.

Your artwork is amazing and please keep it up. It's cool and wonderful!!!

Hi Abi ,

 I have to say right away I feel this is an extraordinary piece of art work. 
You show an expert level of skill in your medium.
The Anatomy and detail work of the shepard seems perfect to me in every aspect.
The textures are beautifully done and as the viewer  I can visually feel the softness of the fur without even touching it.
The highlights are perfect in the eyes.
It is so very realistic I feel like  I can reach in and actually cuddle this beautiful animal.
The background is so very good and complimentary to the main subject

I can honestly tell you I can not find one thing that I feel needs to be changed that could improve this at all.
This is one of the best animal portraits I have seen on DA.
