[EDIT : 05.12.2013 ] : I'm on my Bayonetta period again, so I reworked this pic from 2010 to look better. Also when I did the original version I wasn't in good condition; so it's better now :°)

2010 description:
Unexpected post but today I've "met" a true "nurse" Bayonetta in the Hospital . believe me or not.
Well ok, she wasn't doing tricks with her hair summoning dynosaurs ; and didn't had guns in the back of her High heels. OK.
She wasn't sucking lollipop,and beeing flirty either; ok.
But HELL, her face , size and overall attitude matched pretty much the character !!
Too bad I didn't dare taking picture of this sweet girl, but I know where I can cross her path now :rolf: *perv* (hey, no I'm kiding) (maybe a bit) (not that much) (aaaawww cOmE OOOOnnn !!!!!)
Guess I will cross "Sonic the Hedgehog" soon maybe huh ?
Well then.... SO; I felt like submitting this commission I did some weeks ago ( CAF followers aldready know this pic, even if it was a scan of a "not completly finished pic" on there).
It's a bit rought but I'm not too friend with markers on large surfaces, but the marker technique was what suited the most for leather. (when I have character with lots of visible skin, I go for watercolors, for example)
Knowing the paper and media you use depending on the character is an important thing... at least for ME
I'm not too much a figurine collector but I bought the one released by square enix at the last Japan Expo/comicon in france in July '10...That's a very tall figure, I think they failed with the face rendering (like ALL the women of FFXIII play arts too, have you seen FANG's ??? *nerd*) but the rest is really cool, and As I get many request on B' Commission these last months, It helps me knowing how her costume look in every angle ( for once ,Google is not helping that much, it's surprising, but true)

Your marker techniques certainly put alot of artists I know to shame, its stunning to see what how you utilize your tools into making such incredible details on your artwork.
For starters I really can`t stop awing at the handling of the coloring and overall smoothness of the image, you handle the sleek and sexy look of bayonetta like a pro or rather an artist from the game itself.
Cheers to meeting a true Bayonetta but even more creating that same charm and sass in the simple and yet so alluring pose of this women and everything that makes her so sexy.
One the best things do adore is the way you use your lighting and shadowing so well here, once again a great sense of smoothness here but the way you make the light hit her suit or her hair honestly looks like the real thing, hats off and so much more J-Estacado.

you would not be the first, I got a minority of devwatchers telling me over and over my trad stuff look better than my digital work
but basically, that's why I am; a traditionnal artist

I really didnt do much digital work but i never feelt the same sense of value of my digital work. When its just on a computer you cant touch it... dosent feel as real

well my drawing are still done traditionnaly all the way , it's just the colors...and even the way I color on computer is still very inspirated by traditionnal method
the good point with digital is that you don't loose your inked/penciled product. In traditionnal;if you fail, you loose the whole content. However when it's a succes, it's way better to hold it in your hand than watching it ou your HDD
