i get the feeling that that is is a piece on transformation or the life journey as the giant moves from the harsh savannah/rocky desert to a colder ice waste land. the colors of the piece are beautiful and provide a perfect contrast to each other. through the flows of the lines i can almost feel the matted and tangled fur of the giant. only issues that i have with this one are the fact that as a view i would like to see more detail along the foreground of the path that the giant is on. the green mountains to the left seem to upset the flow over all mostly due to the sudden addition of a lighter color in a horizontal direction in an otherwise dark and vertical steep.
on a personal note i love the work you have put into this and it truly gives the feeling that the image is beyond what you can see.

What kind of program and brush do you use that makes it so furry?

Photoshop and a bunch of weird brushes (or sometimes just one of the core brushes, that I just tweak in settings (playing with scattering is always good).
There are many, many brushes awailable for free around the net.
Also I have a lot of experience with analogue drawing and painting, so I guess my way of painting with brushes is a bit more classical (or just different) than normal digital artists.

Artrage is a very cheap and interesting art painting program - they have a lot of cool brushes that you can play around with! They are really good at simulating real brushes.

That sounds great, but I really don't have a lot of money at the moment.
Plus, I may get my own computer and get a program on there. My current
computer I am using will not last long, so I don't see much point in getting
a new program on it. I will take Artrage into consideration.
