Description The headline attraction if you will of the West Midlands Safari Park is that they have a pride of white lions. Technically these are not albinos, and are a rare colour mutation of the Kruger subspecies of lion (Panthera Leo Krugen) - at least according to wikipedia...

This was a rather warm day and non of the White lions were particularly active, but after eating this lioness leapt from the upper platform to a lower one, I was lucky enough to capture mid jump (in single shot mode despite the 7D being capable of 8 fps...d'oh!).
