Description
A long exposure (140 seconds) shot this morning at Alnmouth in Northumberland.This type of shot is a bit of a cliche and its been done a million times but this is my take on it!

Cheers Eddie, I'm going to head back after a storm when there will be less sand and more groyne hopefully, I got some shots from the other groynes too but this was my favourite

Thanks Malcolm, Hope your well! I've had a bit of a spell away from the camera, real life taking precedent over my photography unfortunately, I'm back now and hoping to get out again this weekend, weather depend! You've been quiet on the submissions front too!

Yes, I find DA takes up a lot of my time. It can become hypnotic and you keep going from one link to another looking at photo after photo. You do realise you have just made me spend hours more on the site!! Well, I suppose it is not too much of a chore! Keep on clicking.

I've just realised I said in my comment on July 6th that i'd had a break and was back, well, im hopefully back now! I know what you mean about this place becoming hypnotic, at least every now and then a image comes along that snaps you out of the trance!

Thanks Allyson, its basically means that the camera took the picture for 140 seconds, that's why the sea has gone all blurry
