Continuing recent themes of mine of 1) multiple versions of the same pic, 2) X-Force related pics, and 3) being a smart ass, we have Deadpool looking for employment in Scott Summers' dirty little secret. I had the idea for this way before Messiah War, and even then, they didn't actually give Wade an official X-Force uniform like he has here.Related content

I was a huge fan of the Kyle/Yost X-force series, but hadn't actually read the Uncanny X-Force book until the most recent arc, and that I only read because I'll pick up damn near anything with Mark Brooks on art duties.
Not that I have anything against Rick Remender, the book just didn't seem to have the same sense of purpose that its predecessor had, and in this economy, with the pruning of titles from my pull list necessary, that was an easy one to let go.
And, just to clarify, this pic was done a year or two before Deadpool got this costume in the comic. The fact that his comic costume matches this so well both deflates/reinforces the joke, in my opinion.

next up (if continuing on the trend of putting Deadpool in alternate uniforms) should be his costume changes during his stay with the Astonishing team (from Cable & Deadpool). One involved him dressed as Marvel Girl.

I've gotta figure Deadpool has a fairly Groucho Marx-esque attitude towards the subject. "I wouldn't want any part of a team that would have me as a member."
