because I haven't drawn anything new in weeks and am definitely NOT procrastinating about the exam I have tomorrow morning

Was going through an old sketchbook of mine and came across these babies - the very first time I ever drew Sifris, Aean and Iach. This was back when they were still new characters in my head and I didn't know a huge amount about them - I never made character notes but they were definitely a little different back then. The notes aren't necessarily correct anymore as I did a bit of an organization reshuffle with the rankings not long ago.

There are no dates on them so I've no idea when they were done but considering the fact I was in school when I started using that sketchbook, that makes them at least two and a half years old by default, possibly even older. And the fact that they look like they could have been done last week makes me feel great because I haven't improved AT ALL /sob

I know I haven't drawn them enough times to start finding design faults/bits I don't like but I find it interesting that their designs have barely changed at all - then again that goes for almost all my characters. A lot of effort and mixing-and-matching and experimenting goes into the initial design and then very little change occurs after that, if any. I don't think /any/ of my characters have had any major visual changes since their initial designs, only subtle ones.

I do need to draw these three again. I know I've said almost nothing about these guys, and to a certain extent it will remain that way, but I love them just as much as the others and hey deserve their fair share of drawings too.
