Centurion Tom strikes back! But Jerry the Maus got pumped. And brought some friends....

To sum up: 3 hrs of sketching (my final sketches are detailed linearts) plus about 3,5 hrs of shading is 6,5 hrs total. But stretched into few days.
Traditionally - HB sketch, 4B shading.

It's because of nicknames given to nations by the opposing soldiers. The Biritsh called the German "Jerries" (phonetical similarity) while the Germans called the British "Tommies" (also because of their Thompson submachine guns, called "tommy guns")

Technically if the Germans continued to fight their Maus would have been completed and the Centurion would have been able to see more combat, being very new. This COULD have happened in 1946.

That title makes me think, in the show Tom and Jerry, the mouse is brown and the cat is grey, and in WWII, the "Tommy" wore brown and the "Jerries" wore grey
