My leopard gecko that has funny habit of waiting for me to get back home from work, them he crawls up on the wooden part of his terarium and winks at me. This is the only time I managed to photograph the wink itself because he is fast..

We have 3 leopard gecko's.
2 girls, 1 boy.
We've build them 3 different "homes" in the style of the region they come from.
Our terrarium sort of looks like the mountain areas of Afghanistan with red desert sand on the bottom.
They also like to sort of wink at us; whenever they spot us looking at them, they'll come out and mimic us winking at them.
Can't help but love them; those alien kind of eyes and their lovable smily faces...absolutely to die for!!!!

cool shot, i have a leapord gecko at home and he does the same thing, which is why i named him Captain. but Captain only does it when he's lying by his heat rock. the colors seem a bit desaturated from the flash, but other than that, it's an excellent shot

Lol I don't have a pet one, but they do have leopard geckos at the Museum of Natural History in Vienna. The funny thing is, I've seen those wink quite often too. I've got a pic of one of them winking in my gallery too, but it's an old, crappy shot.

Lol that's interesting. I think there's usually just one at the museum that winks, but I never know if it is the same one. They have quite a few, and since I only visit them occasionally, I can't really tell them apart.
