I really like the color scheme you've used for this guy...the silver-white hair, the stone, and the armor all tie in so well with each other.
May I ask if he's based on any particular stories? Does he have a name besides Crane?

Legend of the Five Rings, nice. I prefer shadowlands and scorpion, though dragon and crab are pretty nice too. I was sad when I heard WotC bought it off of L5R publishing.

Very nice piece of art. The wind effect is pretty cool. He looks alot like the crane samurai on front of one of the books out of the Legend of the Seven Scrolls series. Hoturi i think, I'm not real sure, its been a few years.
Either way, I think the spirit of the crane is well defined here. Not agressive, yet still intimidating. His stance is defensive but clearly showing that he is willing to fight.
Or at least that is what i see. Great job no matter how you look at it.

the colour usage is beautiful in the midst of such a strong piece. Strength is such a positive in your works, you have mastered body movements and misted sceneries so much your art is a level above reproach. Amazing work.

His legs look...a bit off. O_o I'm not sure how to put it. I know he's wearing garments, but the left leg look a bit thicker. o_O
