Leliana from Dragon Age

Leliana wasn't my favourite characts from the game, but I found her interesting none the less. I Tried to keep the 'sketchy' feel of the last two paintings, but at the same time develop her a bit more. I'm not quite sure if I got the balance right, so I would love some feedback.

about 4 hours, PS CS5, Intuos 4.

EDIT: I used her design from the "Sacred Ashes" trailer. Its far more unique and iteresting to draw than the standard kit she has in Origins

Thanks heaps I never played sacred ashes, but i loved how she looked in the intro movie... a lot more unique than in the original game

I really like how you did the hair and also how it contrasts with the background. I think the combination of a sketchy drawing at the bottom and the becoming more developed works really well.

Hmm, maybe it should be more gradual so it's less half and half.

yep the sketchy bit definately needed to be less gradual. I tried it in another DA2 pic and it worked well with more sketch to it.

I dont know, the face is well, the body is well, the clothes are well detailed and colored, but I have the feeling that the head doesn't match with the body, maybe the shoulers are too small

quite lovely, I wished when they did the rework in DA2 they used the Lilianna from Sacred ashes trailer because you're right she was far more interesting there. very very nice.

Yes one of the best improvements in DA2 was having each character with their own unique armour.
