Description Photoshop 7, graphics tablet
Well... it's suppossed to be a traveller comming down the side of a mountain in early spring, but as my friend pointed out, it looks more like mid winter.
Done in photoshop 6.0, time taken: longer than i'd care to remember.
Is it just me, or does this look a bit like Alanna and Darkmoon?

I love the way it looks. my only comment is that it looks like Alanna is more larger then the mountian and not comeing down the side. thats just my comment but i love the way it looks eather way

Or Alanna and Moonlight!
I was TRYING to find a picture of her in the snow. I mean, she traveled to the Roof of the World, there has to be at LEAST one, right?
Even though she hates it.

Anyway, I like the detail on her clothes.

I wasn't very good at the conceptualising part I didn't know how to draw a sadle so I didnt. At the time it was one of my best pieces

it does look like Alanna and Darkmoon: Darkmoon is Alanna's horse in the Immortal's series. In the Song of the Lioness series, Alanna has Moonlight and Jon has Darkness. sorry XD im a nerd for Tamora Pierce books

I'm going to be even more of a nerd since I just reread the series (both Alanna's and Wild Magic), Darkmoon has the same body coloring as Moonlight, but with a black mane and tail. Therefore this one would be Moonlight Nerdiness aside, I LOVE this, absolutely love.

Darkmoon is Jon's horse, Moonlight is Alanna's. In Reference to the pic... absolutly amazing! Even if it didn't start out as fan art it is the best one I've seen.

Darkmoon is Moonlight's grandson, therefore Alanna's second horse, and Darkness is Prince Jon's horse

Your colour palette is beautiful...it makes me feel wintery just looking at it! Great job on the horse's mane and the girl (Alanna)'s hair, same with the leather look of her jacket.

Only one sort of critical comment: maybe don't have the snow pile up around the soles of her boots so perfectly? Just a nitpicky thing.

P.S. I'd love to have boots like that!
