Description Practicing caustics in Maya 2011.

modeled in Maya 2011. rendered with Mental Ray. Seriously, ^artofkerem is motivating and inspiring me to be with 3Dimensional arts too. thank you for the comments Kerem

and guys, i dont think if this looks good for you. but i want to hear your critiques

i put this in "Digital Art, 3-Dimensional Art, Objects, Tools & Machinery" because i think this are tools of a wizard

Okay, so I just went to youtube earlier today and I was looking at people work on Maya...

You guys are crazy. My eyes would explode just looking at the menu. So to me, this is freaking awesome. I have NO idea how you guys do it. o.o and I don't know what's "good" and what's not, but wow. o.o you guys are still crazy (awesome) for learning this stuff.

The only thing missing from that, is our reflection together. roflmao.

we use to think about many things in common really

and yes. i am crazy and i am really crazy when it comes to trying out new things at first, i was really nervous just by looking at those scary looking menus but once you'll get into the basics, then you'll see that you can do more than you can ever imagine

and yes! our reflection together

i wanna see my halfiessss

you're going to get better. keep it up
for this i would like you to remember the effects of the lightings and caustics when you change the settings especially the photon intensity and exponent. and as well as the lights (don't forget to check the shadow so that it will appear)
then balance the photon intensity so that it wont overpower and the object will still be the subject (not the caustics since it should only help to make it look more natural)
err lastly, our teacher said that the material also affects the outcome of the caustics like the color, etc. so if you think there is really something wrong with the caustics you should go back and tweak your material a bit

once again good luck with this, we're really learning 3d! i can't believe it!!!

hahah. thanks greg

and i dont want to put much pressure at my lappy. because whenever i tweak the photon intensity and exponent, then im afraid that this might end my connection with lappy. remember what sir said na baka sumabog ang laptop nya if sobra sobra ang details?

and oh! thanks for the next point. totally got it

and yes! we're branching out thanks Greg
