This car is a mystery. It wasn't in the Blues brothers 2000 movie, but it is what the new Blues mobile [link] would of looked like before it was retired...North aurora IL

Alot of cops complained at the new Blues Brothers movie because unlike the old one they did NOT use real police decals on the police cars, Even the one on the Blues Mobile is fake, They took the Illinois State Police seal and put Cook County on it, REAL markings are a 6 point star with Cook County Sheriff on it and Cook County Sheriff's Police along the doors and the color of vehicles is white with gold stripes. Worse was the way they marked Illinois and Indiana State Police in the movie, They didn't use the real Illinois State Police decals and on Indiana they had the real decal but screwed up the wording, They put: Police Indiana State. Other than those MAJOR goofs the movie was ok but the old one was better.

From my imagination, while Elwood was still in prison for some time, the decals on the Bluesmobile weren't faded out until Elwood founded it after he was released. To him, Elwood believes the car is in perfect condition. I could own a Bluesmobile.
