I think I saw that. I've never watched the reboot. Only the original. I'm not exactly fond of reboots. The Star Trek one is fine, but others, let's just say I'm sick of them. To me, most stories are fine the way they are.

Indeed. Just like I'm also sick of these live action remakes Disney is doing with many of their movies. Many fans prefer the stories the way they are. Personally I like continuations and next generation type stories. The Lion King for example. They hadn't originally planned on a sequel, but it was so popular and still is, that they made one later. Also the sequel to Lady and the Tramp was good. Aladdin's sequels were awesome, especially The King of Thieves. Many of their sequels aren't that great, but it's nice when they do things like that rather than retell a story that's already fine the way it is.
The James Bond reboot is pointless. They could've just kept making more based on the original timeline and whenever they have to find someone else to play Bond, so be it. Most fans didn't care and liked it the way it was.

Well call me an old man, but I just like the stories I grew up with. I'm kind of a dinosaur. The thing is, is that I've seen people half my age who are the same way. They watch the Batman and Spider Man series from the 60s and think they're awesome, as do I. They also watch the old Disney movies, the original 20 James Bond movies and the original Star Trek and like them the way they are.
