A pencil drawing made Mar 7th, 2008, tinted using some kind of advanced cyber-wear.Yep, it's Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow, drawn after looking at a bunch of artwork by Jun Tsukasa! Easily influenced, that's me!

yes that is true but think about how she is portrayed in the anime or how the artist portrayed her wen he started the series she may not hav a set sex but the consept was that she is sexy over all

I see the Jun Tsukasa influence, but it's harder to pick out any Shirow. Hey, Jun Tsukasa's my favorite artist and so I encourage you to look at more of his stuff.

I love it. Only thing that looks off is the sleeves, they seem too rigid. But that's minor.

Yeah, the coat is an attempt at a different, stiffer texture, and it does wind up a bit shortchanged compared to her torso. Thaks for the observation!

Feels strange replying to my own message, but I just noticed something. Did/do you use Burne Hogarth books for reference? Those awesome abdominals reminded me a lot of his anatomical sketches.
