I never feel like I made a bad choice with buying my 50mm, it is such a fantastic lens and I have barely taken it off my camera since I got it! I am so pleased with these reptile shots I'll be putting up.This one is my second favourite of the day. I love how natural it looks, with the branch and plant in the background. You can really see how well these guys can camouflage.

A little soft even in the focused area, but given what looks to be some difficult circumstances, very excellent! I love the boken on the chameleon's body almost looks like a mosaic!

Ahh, the focus was mostly on the eye, which was a miscalculation on my part! I was trying to hold the lens as close to the glass as possible, probably needed a higher ISO. Next time!

omg I love cameleons. D: I wanted one as a pet for so long, until I realized they're one of the hardest pets to own, so finicky in their environmental needs and all. Um, yes, but I really love the picture! Definitely like how much the lizard blends in with his surroundings yet doesn't disappear, he's still clearly there. It's pretty awesome. :3
