This piece is a still of time, as is the essence of photography itself. The couple dancing in the center easily draws interest. At the same time, the angle of the shot feels right. The other clients are secondary, fading in the background even, yet they put emphasis on the main focus, without stealing attention.
I always feel that b&w photography is more sober, maybe even melancholic. It also encourages a deeper understanding.

Thank you so much for this very nice 'critique.' To be really honest I just point my camera and shoot.
To me, this kind of image is what gives meaning to the word 'street' photography.
I like to see people doing things naturally.....expressively or not. We are people trying to live our lives as best we can and I try to convey this.
