It's GUS again!! My favourite kitty!! Lovely shot of him again. He really has very unique chest hair from all the pics of him that I have seen so far. I have never seen a kitty with its hair hang down straight down the chest. I think he's a NFC mixed with some other breed. Still trying to figure it out. Maybe you can take some pics of his inner legs. That area tells a lot of the breed. I have replied you from my camerondiv email. Please send me more of his pics!! I love this shot! It's such a different capture than you usually find in the domesticated gallery. Not many cats will pose like that for you, you are honoured. Wonderful lighting you have here, was it an actual studio setup or did you take this at home? I do love the colours and the depth of the hair, very crisp and yet soft. Excellent framing and use of thirds. The only thing I think I would do to this would be to add a border, apart from that a great capture.

Golly, thank you! This was taken at my house, on my kitchen counter at night. I was sitting there using my laptop (as usual) with a bright flourescent desk lamp going. Gus jumped up to say hi, so I pulled out the camera to see what I could do. This is him sniffing the light bulb! Hence the awesome clarity and color. Only part of his nose is showing because the rest was hidden under the lampshade.
Thanks for the suggestion. This was the only thing in my gallery without a border, because I couldn't figure out how to add one without destroying the idea that he's reaching up and out of the picture. But, I worked on it some more, and I think I figured it out, so I'm uploading the new version now.
