Description Some things about desert, for those that have not been:

It's hot, but it gets equally, and most discomfortingly cold.

also, there's a ton of green in the desert. as there is brown, yellow, purple, green, blue... it's quite a colorful place if you look...

Love this, thanks for sharing, . . . I remember getting Arizona Highways magazine as a gift from an uncle when I was a kid, this (and the other photos from you) are the quality I looked forward to the most.

the desert is truly at it's best when it's cold (and the declination of the sun is groovy for photography too) It's always amazed me how cold and lonley one can feel standing in the desert, in winter, when the sun is going down. This shot captures that feelin to the t.

that is such a stunning capture, the shy is perfectly gradiented, i love that, and how you have placed the subject matter in the lower quarter of the photograph, very effect.

thanks for sharing this with us.

Hey, thanks so much... Not so sure I can take "proper" credit for the subject placement, other than the fact that I was present, lol. it was the only way I could figure to shoot it. Thanks for looking!

Wow, you guys get snow in the freakin' desert and we don't have any here in Finland, where it should be snowing. Unfair!

Anyway, nice shot!
