Description
For CHOW #196 - The Wizard of OzI won the Robin Hood round (woot!) so I got to host round #196 (I got to pick the topic). A re-imagining of any of the Wizard of Oz's four main characters. I went for all of them, this is Dorothy Gale.

Edit, 02.04.2011 - did a bit more work on her this January before I submitted this for Spectrum judging. I like her MUCH better now.

Cool! You're good at braids - I only just realized how to do that a few weeks ago. The pink hair is also cool. I like how she has awesome socks and you did the shimmering shoes very well. You also did the dog really well, and the look on her face. The background is also neat.

Love this...especially the shoes, I've always had a thing for Ruby Slippers <3 I'd prefer a short, frilly layered skirt (kind of a short petti or something?) vs. the uber short-shorts...maybe it's just me? Just a little longer than what she's wearing. But this is such a wonderfully original idea...
