Description
The Vishuddhi Chakra (Chakra of Purity) is located at the throat. It is related to the inner winds that experience food and drink--purifying these substances for use by the body.(Fun fact for my fellow Avatards: in Avatar: The Last Airbender, this chakra is called the Sound Chakra and the Chakra of Truth.)

This Chakra holds our ability to communicate with the outer world, the human voice is created nearby as well.
The Vishuddhi Chakra guides and regulates all higher organs as brain, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, thyroid and bronchial system.
Is it working well and has the right size, then all senses are fine. You speak what you think, what you say is usually very welcome. Your sincerity is obvious.
The "second hearing" - like second sight - hearing of higher spheres sound and music, originates here.
Also the ability to communicate with yourself and past on a deeper level originates here.
It has a direct connection with all our senses (with exception of the tactile sense and equilibrioception ("sense of balance") [the so often forgotten 6th sense])
Our tactile sense and emotions are controlled by the 2nd main chakra.
And what is especially important - sounds are a key to open this chakra. Known approaches to that knowledge is singing a child to sleep, choirs or singing loud when being alone.
On another note, I believe that most classical instruments are build after the sounds that happen when humans are together in a small place all doing overtone chantings ... because a group and yours truly did so once in a former spiritual bookshop... and after that we talked and each one said (s)he heard another classical instrument after our sounds created more and more overtones... like a guitar, bells and such.

It's also why singing in Sanskrit is so powerful--not just with opening various chakras--but getting the winds to flow properly in all our channels. The language of Sanskrit came from the shape of our channels.

Sanskrit is one of the languages of old that a simple mantra is uber healing just by saying the words.
Do you know the "Ra Ma Da Sa - Sa Se So Hong" ... it's the only one I can remember and translate.

That have been the times, when I was quite good with that old version of Wavelab. Sadly, I later had not the time, and usually despise Windows, too.
I so love overtone chants... and I am quite good at them as well, just the way of breathing that you can chant and chant without stopping I up to now did not get.
No one there to learn me that.

Nope, never been to Asia. I have a slight urge to visit India, Thailand, and Tibet. I'm not really much of traveler these days.

Nope... outside Europe only to Canada, but quite some European countries, though. But wanna visit Asia... hopefully with at least one person who is into all the spiritual stuff as well.

Yay for Overtone chanting...
Using my singing bowl got Asrael to sing by himself.
He left the room we were in (we as in: my former GF and me) and sat in the next room in front of the open door [the really high sounds don't cross a door] and started singing in a way I never heard a cat singing prior or later. Sadly, I did not record it.
It was like Meow---mow-mow. Meow---mow-mow. Meow---mow-mow. He went on like that as long as I played the singing bowl.
