Getting anything perfect is really really hard, if not impossible o.-; Still, looks good! That particular image you used for the background... I spent hours swapping back and forth between different layers because I couldn't decide which looked better.
When I do photo manipulations, I always like to play around with the layer styles. For example, making multiple copies of the same layer, with each copy having a different blending mode, opacity, and maybe even some filters or color adjustments. For example, one technique I like using a lot: [link]
